Anna Thompson is a junior at Loyola Marymount University who has played piano for 13 years and has taught for the past 6 years. Teaching has always been her passion and shows in her experience of working with students ranging from ages 4-16 years old. Her favorite composers are Liszt, Prokofiev, and Chopin; she tries to play at least one of them each term. Currently, she’s studying under the tutelage of Dr. Wojciech Kocyan, who is a renowned artist on a global scale. Aside from music, she is also working towards a second major in International Relations in the hopes of later attending law school. She is a member of the University Honors Program, Phi Delta Phi Pre-Law Society, Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honors Society, Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity, and a future trip leader to Cuba through the Alternative Breaks program. She hopes to inspire the future little Chopin’s of the world!
